Terms of Service

By accessing or using CatCosplay (the “Service”) you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always posted at this URL; material changes take effect after notice to you. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use CatCosplay. You may use the Service as a guest or by signing in with Google or LINE. You are responsible for the activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure.

You keep ownership of the photos you upload and the images you generate. To operate the Service, you grant CatCosplay a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, store, process, and display that content back to you.

You confirm that you have the rights to the photos you upload — including the right to upload images of any pet shown — and that uploading them does not violate anyone else's rights or any law.

CatCosplay uses AI to transform your photos. Because the same prompts and templates are available to everyone, other users may generate similar images. Generated images are provided as-is and may contain artefacts or inaccuracies; you are responsible for reviewing an image before you use it.

You agree not to use CatCosplay to create or share content that is unlawful, infringing, deceptive, hateful, sexually explicit, or harmful, or that depicts real, identifiable people without their consent.

You also agree not to abuse, overload, reverse-engineer, or attempt to circumvent the Service's rate limits, credit system, or other usage and abuse controls, and not to resell or redistribute access to the Service itself.

Catnip is the in-app credit used to generate images on CatCosplay. Each generation deducts a fixed amount of Catnip from your balance; the amount depends on the generation quality you choose.

You can obtain Catnip for free — through the sign-up bonus, daily check-in, invite rewards, and promotions — or through a paid subscription, which releases a Catnip allowance at the start of each billing period.

Some Catnip expires. Free grants such as the monthly bonuses and the daily check-in carry an expiry and are removed once that period passes; your subscription allowance is granted per billing period. Free Catnip has no cash value and is not redeemable for money.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) at the price displayed when you subscribed, charged to the payment method on file.

You may cancel renewal at any time from your account menu. Cancelling stops the next automatic charge; your paid access and any Catnip already granted for the current period remain available until that period ends. We do not pro-rate or refund the unused portion of a billing period on cancellation alone.

Refunds. To request a refund, email support@catcosplay.com. We will refund your most recent payment in full if, at the time of your request, BOTH of the following are true: (a) fewer than 7 days have passed since that payment was processed, AND (b) none of the Catnip funded by that payment has been spent on a generation. If either condition is not met, refunds are at our discretion and are not guaranteed, except where required by law. Approved refunds are issued through our payment provider; once issued, the unused Catnip funded by that payment is removed.

Statutory rights. Where your local law grants mandatory rights — for example, the EU/UK cooling-off period for digital services — those rights apply and override the terms above where they are more favourable to you.

Chargebacks. Please contact support@catcosplay.com before disputing a charge with your bank. A chargeback raised without contacting us first may result in suspension of the associated account until the dispute is resolved.

You may stop using CatCosplay at any time, and you may delete your account by emailing support@catcosplay.com. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that put the Service or other users at risk.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that generated images will meet your expectations or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. You use the Service at your own risk.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CatCosplay and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be handled in the courts located in California, unless your local law requires otherwise.
